About eAcademy
Welcome!
Students interested in taking an eAcademy course must first meet with their counselor, who will help determine whether an eAcademy course is appropriate or necessary. The counselor's permission code is required to enroll in eAcademy.
Students often sign up for eAcademy with little knowledge of time commitment, course structure, program requirements, and more. We have extensive information on this site about how our program works if students need to obtain a clearer understanding of the commitment they are accepting.

eAcademy Teaching Staff
eAcademy teaching staff generally teach full time in the Olathe Public Schools and accept an eAcademy instructional role as an after-contract assignment similar to an extracurricular position. Teachers are certified in their subject area and in many cases teach the same course face to face at their school. eAcademy staff receive specialized training in strategies and best practices for online instruction.
