The Media, Design and Communications Pathway Program equips students with skills in creating, producing, and operating digital media for a variety of audiences. Students gain experience in school media production while exploring careers in communications, visual arts, illustration, and graphic design, blending creativity with technical expertise. The pathway also links to Information Technology, focusing on programming, software development, and web and digital communications, where students design and produce interactive multimedia for business, entertainment, marketing, and more. This prepares them to meet workforce demands and succeed as innovators and leaders in a global economy.

To be considered a CTE Completer in the pathway, students must complete 3.0 credits within the course sequence and earn an industry recognized, comprehensive certification or pass a third-party, end-of-pathway assessment. At least 2.0 of the required 3.0 required credits must be a combination of technical and application level courses.

Career Pathway Programs are available at all five High Schools. No transfer is required.
