"A one-of-a-kind school based father involvement program that works."
Cedar Creek is excited to offer the WATCH D.O.G.S. program again this year! The program is a great way to get CC dads or grandfathers, uncles, or other male adults in our children’s lives more involved at school.
The WATCH D.O.G.S. Program strives to:
- Raise the banner of positive fathering through the forum of schools.
- Awaken fathers to the values and benefits of committed fathering.
- Change culture by which every child has a father or father figure to connect with in a positive way at school.
- Help every school in America be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father figures in their children’s life.
WATCH D.O.G.S. perform a variety of tasks during their day. Examples include monitoring the school entrance and exits, assisting with buses and cars, small group or individual students, assisting at recess, eating lunch with the students and other activities that engage the WATCH D.O.G.S. with not only their own children but other children as well.
If you would like to be a WATCH D.O.G.S. Dad, please fill out a registration form or contact the coordinator for one @ firstname.lastname@example.org or (913)780-7360. If you would like to order a T-shirt please have that turned in by the end of September and make checks out to Cedar Creek Elementary. Also, we now have a Sign up Genius for you to look at open slots to come in and do some Watch DOGS duty. Please feel free to sign up! Thank you again for your time and commitment!
