Matt Trumpp

Matt Trumpp comes to Olathe West having taught social studies and AVID in the Olathe district for the past 11 years. This includes four years at Santa Fe Trail Middle School on the Building Leadership Team and as department chair, then seven years at Olathe Northwest High School.

As captain of the Baker University men's soccer team, he helped the team to three national tournament appearances. He earned All-Conference and All-Region honors, Heart of America Conference Player of the Year, HAAC Defensive Player of the Year, Baker University Student Athlete of the Year, and All-American honors. In 2011, he was named to the Baker Soccer Hall of Fame. Coach Trumpp has spent the past 12 years coaching with current Sporting Kansas city manager Peter Vermes and Academy directory Jon Parry in various capabilities. He's coached full-time at Sporting Kansas City since 2010, winning seven state championships, one regional championship, and one national championship. Coach Trumpp has coached 10 players having currently or previously made appearances with U.S. youth national teams.

Matt is currently the Director of coaching for Toca FC. He has held this role since 2017. 

Coach Trumpp was a 2015 finalist for the Kevin Gray Kansas City Youth Soccer Coach of the Year award and holds his USSF National B License.

He grew up in Olathe and lives in the community with his wife, Jamie, and sons Braden and Gavin.

Andy Weber

Coach Weber comes to Olathe West to teach Social Studies and serve as the Assistant Varsity soccer coach. 

Mr. Weber earned his Bachelor’s in History from The University of Kansas and his secondary education license from Mid-America Nazarene University.  He has spent the past 9 years teaching at Gardner Edgerton High School where he was the head men’s soccer coach for 8 seasons, and women’s assistant for 3. 

He has coached competitive club soccer for 12 years and currently serves as a Director for an area club. Mr. Weber has his USSF National D License. Coach Weber has previously been named the Kansas Youth Soccer Boys Competitive Coach of the year and has a United States Soccer Federation national coaching license.  Mr. Weber grew up in Olathe, attending USD 233 schools K-12 and is excited to reinvest in the Olathe Community.  His wife Ashley also teaches in Olathe and they have two little boys named Keaton and Bodie.

Andrew Miller

Mr. Miller grew up in the Johnson County area playing soccer for Sporting Blue Valley and Sporting KC Academy while in high school. During high school, he won a state title in both high school and club soccer.

He went on to Baker University where he continued to play soccer and graduated with a degree in Biology and Secondary Education. While at Baker, he started at outside back for three consecutive conference championships while leading the team in assists his senior year. 

Coach Miller currently coaches for Toca FC and holds a USSF National E License. He has been coaching in some variety at the club level for the past 5 years.

Randy Enright

  • Coach Enright comes to Olathe West to teach Spanish and serve as the C Team soccer coach.  Mr. Enright earned his Bachelor’s in Spanish and Secondary Education from The State University of New York at Potsdam.  He has coached soccer from New York to California and now here in Kansas. He served as Captain of his college soccer team during his Jr. and Sr years. He is a dedicated educator and loves helping children to find success in all walks of life. He and his wife Emily moved here last year and are very excited about contributing to the Olathe community.
